We have two heybike rangers fat tire folding e bikes and this rack is amazing. Works great and what a deal at $279.

Would this work for gravel and mountain bikes with tires up to 2.6” ?

For me, I find the layout of slings like the Tarion or K&F much more user-friendly.

Anyone know if this would work on a Ford Expedition? I’m considering buying a Aima Big Sur.

I just got this rack a few days ago and loaded it up with a Rad Rover 6 Plus and a Rad City 5 Plus. Both bikes fit and they were held more rigidly in place than any other rack I’ve used. I think the only Rad bike that wouldn’t fit is Rad Wagon (long wheel base cargo bikes). The Rover 6+ has a 47.8” wheelbase and it fits! The tire tie downs barely fit the super fat tires, but do reach. I wish those straps were 1” longer. The RadRunner Plus you show in the video has a wheelbase of 46.5” so should fit just fine. The recently-introduced and amazing Radster Trail (large frame) has a wheelbase of 47.4”, nearly the same as the Rad Rover 6 Plus. The Radster Road (large frame) is slightly shorter, so also should fit quite well. So, unless you have a Rad Wagon, this rack should work quite well for all other Rad bikes. I highly recommend it!

You can’t go wrong with Peak Design. Lifetime warranty. I had the 3L and got my ZVE1 and 3 lenses in it, just. I did a video. Then I got the 6L as I bought another lens and the new Sony Mic. So I get in mine, ZVE1, 24mm F2.8, 20mm F1.8, 16-35 Zeiss, Tamron 28-75, plus mic, extra batteries etc. That’s a lot in such a small bag. The 6L isn’t that much bigger in dimensions than the 6L. I totally disagree re the capture clip- that’s the best reason for the PD, putting the capture clip on it for immediate access to the camera rather than faffing about going into the bag. The Wandred looks very good. I would really like a Bellingham. Beautiful British craftsmanship on those.

Hi Desy! Great review. I have a question though, can the 25 or 30L fit a thick laptop in an EVA case on the back or front laptop compartment? Mine is an ASUS TUF 15.6 gaming laptop at 3cm Thickness that I put in an EVA case for additional protection with 4.5cm thickness when the laptop is inside. I'm just curious because most of my camera bags will fit my laptop but with the Hardshell EVA case then it wont fit anymore. I'm a casual gamer and have mirrorless camera gears and a small drone when I travel. Laptop EVA case with Laptop inside Dimensions are: Length 28cm x Thickness 4.5cm x Height 49cm. Hope you can answer. Thank you!

The hub system seems like wasted weight for little reward. 😢 Also four pen style slots is way too many. If they ditched all the pen slots, all the hub loops in the main compartment and thinned out the laptop compartment to add volume to the main compartment then it would be perfect.

I don't agree with you on the laptop compartment. You are forgetting security. Your laptop probably has a lot of important files and is very expensive. I much rather have it close to my back and out of reach of any pick pockets. Way more important than the fact that it takes just a second longer at the airport.

Every time I heard the reviewer say "xxx sent me this bag for review. However, everything I said is my own opinion", I can't help but think this review is biased. I mean, if you talk too "objectively", then next time companies won't send you products to review; after all, who wants to get their faces slapped for free, right? However, compared to the pros, the cons of a product are what drive consumers nuts.

Kinda wondering why you have so many subscribers when clearly in the comments there are concerns about your judgements.

I just bought this rack at costco today. I have two foldable fat tire ebikes. This rack works great. It literally comes with all the bells and whistles plus a ramp which other racks dont have. Any other rack with this quality is around $500-$700. It was a bit tricky trying to fit the clamps, but eventually I got it figured out. You just have to be creative and dont give up right away

For flights, does the Tropos fit well under the seat in front of you?

It would have been a very good sling for me if there was a way to add dividers for a camera and one or 2 lenses... No way I can let my lenses get loose inside of a bag like that.

Used this for my travel….and while it feels super sturdy and high quality, I can’t say the same about comfort. Might be the material is just super thick that it adds the extra weight or something, but my shoulder hurt after long use.

I honestly think this video has more incorrect information than useful information. Viewers should read the comments carefully

This bike rack is the easiest rack we have ever used, it comes completely assembled just install it on your vehicle. It holds two 2 inch fat tire large size e-bikes. The ramps make it easy to load and unload. I would recommend for anyone with a motorhome.

I bought the 20L thinking I'd found the perfect urban bag. The Urban Explore has a few pros going for it but the cons outweigh them by a lot. You pointed out most of them but I'm gon a elaborate a little more on the top grab handle. That thing is so sharp around the edges that it actually feels like it's going to cut through the palm of your hand! I rely on public transportation for my commute but it can get pretty packed during rush hour (I live in Mexico City) so you cannot leave the pack on your back, you have to carry it on your side by the top handle but after a few minutes it's just so painful because of the sharp edges! So that's just a terrible handle. And I moved the rain cover to that useless front pocket, it had no businesses being where it was as if you get caught in some rain, by the time you open the camera compartment, wrestle with the camera cube to get it out, your gear is already wet. Great review!! Good to see all the differences. I've been using the very original Tropos for years and love it, but now needing to upgrade. Whether to get the new Tropos or look elsewhere? The kickstand feature is just so damn useful, so probably another Tropos for me, although I totally agree with the downgrades that you mentioned. Your reviews are excellent btw, very thorough and not just stating the obvious like so many reviewers out there.

Will this fit regular bikes?

I'm thinking about this for an x100v... I mean.. if you want to carry other things in there as well. you could adapt the dividers so that one of them is smaller. Then you could fold one divider down and have space for other things.. like water, a book or whatever.. I feel like a camera would bounce around without the dividers.. like in the 6L ?
